Gun Lake Tribe’s Domestic Violence Program services are available to all Native Americans enrolled in a federally recognized tribe in Gun Lake Tribe’s service area (Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent and Ottawa). Our goal is to lessen the impact of victimization, to identify the needs of victims and their families and to assist in meeting the identified needs. There are no client fees for services provided by the Domestic Violence Program. Victim services include: short term counseling, information and referrals, safety planning, criminal justice support/advocacy, emergency financial assistance/housing, transportation and domestic violence education.
