Battering Intervention Programs provide intervention and counseling services for individuals who struggle with abusive, controlling, and assaultive behaviors toward their intimate partners.

The cornerstone of these programs is accountability for the individuals who abuse and empathy for their victims. BIP’s believe that abusive attitudes and behaviors reflect an individual problem that negatively impacts relationships and victims. BIP’s provide individual and group services to help participants learn how to make accountable and respectful choices within intimate relationships working to not only eliminate abusive and controlling behaviors impacting emotional and physical safety, but to foster more respectful and caring behaviors to strengthen intimacy and family bonds.
